Career Highlights
  • Became the first high school player selected by the 76ers in the draft since Darryl Dawkins (1975, 1st round, 5th pick overall).
  • Scored 3,338 points, 768 rebounds, 650 assists and 355 steals during his career at South Gwinnett High School (Ga.).
  • Had his jersey No. 23 retired at the school in February of 2006.
  • Winner of the 2005 Naismith Award, signifying the nation’s top high school player and was named Mr. Basketball in Georgia as a junior (2003-04) and a senior (2004-05).
  • Hosted Louis’ Caps for Kids Drive on April 10, 2006 as part of the 76ers Drive for Kids program, which collected 1,085 hats, benefiting area pediatric oncology units.
  • Had his high school jersey (No. 23) retired by his alma mater, South Gwinnett High School in February of 2006.
