Golden State and Santa Cruz Warriors Hit Buzzer-Beaters on Same Night

One silenced the crowd and one made it erupt. One came from long-range and one point-blank, one from a star and one from a supporting cast member.

Both gave the Warriors a pivotal late-season victory.

On Tuesday night the Bay Area was Drama Central, as the Warriors' parent club and NBA D-League affiliate each won on last-second, game-winning shots from the fingertips of Stephen Curry and Daniel Nwaelele, respectively -- the latter sending the "Sea-Dubs" faithful into a frenzy, less than 90 minutes after Curry's heroics. The victories kept Golden State entrenched in the No. 6 spot in the Western Conference playoff race, while Santa Cruz tied West Division rival Reno for the No. 7 seed in the upcoming NBA D-League playoffs.
