NBA D-League Performer of the Week: December 8, 2008

Erik Daniels of the Erie BayHawks is the NBA D-League Performer of the Week for December 8, 2008. Daniels is the first BayHawks player to earn Performer of the Week honors.
Daniels led Erie to a 3-1 record this week while averaging 23.0 points and 11.0 rebounds on .452 (38-84) shooting from the field. He recorded three double-doubles in four games and posted a season-high 27 points in a win over Austin last Monday. For the season Daniels is averaging 21.0 points and 10.8 rebounds in five games.
The 6-8 Daniels was Erie's first-round pick (seventh overall) in the 2008 NBA D-League draft. An All-SEC player at Kentucky, he appeared in 21 games for the Sacramento Kings during the 2004-05 NBA season. He also earned second team All-NBA D-League honors with Fayetteville during the 2005-06 campaign.

Marcus Williams, Austin: Williiams averaged 25.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in three games for the Toros.
Will Conroy, Albuquerque: Conroy averaged 28.3 points and 6.3 assists in three games for the Thunderbirds.
Chris Hunter, Fort Wayne: Hunter averaged 24.0 points and 12.6 rebounds in three games for the Mad Ants.
Courtney Sims, Iowa: Sims posted 25.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in two games for the Energy.
Joe Crawford, Los Angeles: Crawford scored 26.5 points with 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals for the D-Fenders over two games.
