D-League Performer of the Week: March 24, 2008

Carlos Powell of the Dakota Wizards is the 16th D-League Performer of the Week for the 2007-08 season. He is the first player to earn the honor twice this season.
In three games for Dakota this week, Powell averaged 31.0 points, 4.7 rebounds and 7.7 assists. He tied a season high with 37 points in Friday's win over Fort Wayne, and returned to action on Sunday with 30 points and a season-high 12 assists to complete a weekend sweep of the Mad Ants.
A 6-7 forward from South Carolina, Powell was Dakota's first-round pick in the 2007 D-League Draft after spending time in Golden State's preseason training camp. He ranks fifth in the D-League with 22.2 points per game and represented the Wizards in the 2008 D-League All-Star Game.
Alando Tucker, Albuquerque: Tucker averaged 32.2 points and shot 11-22 on three-pointer in three games on assignment from the Suns.
Sean Banks, Los Angeles: Banks averaged 25.5 points and 6.0 rebounds in two games.
Shannon Brown, Iowa: Brown averaged 28.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in four games on assignment from the Bulls.
Mateen Cleaves, Bakersfield: Cleaves shot 21-29 from the field in two games, averaging 29.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 9.0 assists.
Earl Calloway, Fort Wayne: Calloway averaged 26.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.7 assists in three games for the Mad Ants.
