D-League Performer of the Week: March 3, 2008

Brian Chase of the Los Angeles D-Fenders is the 13th D-League Performer of the Week for the 2007-08 season. He is the second member of the D-Fenders to earn the honor this season.
In three games for Los Angeles this week, Chase averaged 29.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 4.7 assists. He scored a season-high 39 points and made seven three-pointers in Sunday's win over the Idaho Stampede. Chase set his previous season high on Tuesday when he scored 32 points in a win over Anaheim.
A 5-10 guard from Virginia Tech, Chase is averaging 16.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.6 assists in his second D-League season with the D-Fenders. Last season he appared in the D-League All-Star Game and earned Honorable Mention All-D-League honors.
Blake Ahearn, Dakota: Ahearn averaged 29.0 points, 4.3 assists and shot 10-23 on three-pointers for the Wizards.
Desmon Farmer, Rio Grande Valley: Farmer averaged 35.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists in two games for the Vipers, shooting 8-17 on three-pointers.
David Noel, Tulsa: Noel averaged 30.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games while on assignment from the Bucks.
Justin Bowen, Austin: Bowen averaged 28.0 points and 9.0 rebounds in two games for the Toros.
Rod Benson, Dakota: Benson averaged 19.6 points and 17.7 rebounds in three games, including a 24-rebound game on Sunday.
Kasib Powell, Sioux Falls: Powell averaged 25.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in four games for the Skyforce.
