Golden State Warriors Re-Assign Jeremy Tyler, Kent Bazemore to NBA D-League Affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors

The pair bring the total number of assignments in 2012-13 to 87.

NEW YORK, Dec. 31, 2012 – The Golden State Warriors today re-assigned Kent Bazemore and Jeremy Tyler to the Santa Cruz Warriors, Golden State’s NBA Development League affiliate. The assignments are the record 86th and 87th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons, while Bazemore and Tyler are two of the 45 players who have been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.

Bazemore (6-5, 201, Old Dominion) has appeared in 16 games for Golden State this season, averaging 1.1 points and 2.4 minutes and returns to Santa Cruz following three previous assignments this season where he averaged of 23.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 5.0 steals and 34.3 minutes in three games.

Tyler (6-10, 260, San Diego High School) has appeared in 11 games for Golden State this season, averaging 1.1 points and 2.4 minutes. Tyler also rejoins Santa Cruz with his fourth assignment having played in three games earlier this season, posting averages of 14.0 points, 9.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steal and 30.0 minutes.

Bazemore and Tyler are expected to be in Santa Cruz today and available to play tomorrow when the team hosts the Sioux Falls Skyforce at Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz at 5 p.m. ET.
