The North Charleston Lowgators recently ‘teamed up’ with the existing Anthony Johnson Basketball Camp to offer a five-day basketball camp session for children. The first camp session was held the week of June 30 to Friday July 4 at the Isle of Palm Recreation Department. Campers enjoyed a week of learning from experienced players and coaches while improving their basketball skills.

The North Charleston Lowgators finished the 2002-03 regular season in second place with a 26-24 record. The team featured three NBA “call-ups” and two former College of Charleston stars. The Lowgators up-tempo style of basketball was not only exciting to watch, but highly effective.
