GREENVILLE, S.C., July 8 - 65 former National Basketball Development
League players are currently on 2005 NBA summer league rosters, improving the
number of D-League player appointments to NBA summer league rosters to 208 since
the league began play in November 2001.
This is the third consecutive season
that more than 60 players with D-League ties have earned a place on an NBA summer
league roster. Thirty-two (32) players that played in the D-League during the
2004-05 season are currently on summer league rosters.
