NBDL Makes Final Player Allocations


NEW YORK Oct. 10 -- The National Basketball Development League has allocated two additional players to each of the charter teams, it was announced today by Karl Hicks, Executive Director of the NBDL.

"Our final round of player allocations again demonstrates the level of basketball that will be played in the NBDL," said Hicks. "Not only have we signed a very talented group of athletes, but we've also gathered a quality group of individuals who will make our teams and their communities proud."

Each team has been allocated a total of four players. A minimum of one allocation player is guaranteed a spot on each team's final roster.

Asheville (N.C.): Brett Carey (SG-UNC Asheville), Chris Carrawell (SG-Duke)
Columbus (Ga.): Max Owens (SG-UNC), Saul Smith (PG-Kentucky)
Fayetteville (N.C.): Raphael Edwards (SF-East Carolina), Ron Kelley (PF-N.C. State)
Greenville (S.C.): James Griffin (SG-College of Charleston), Tom Wideman (PF-Clemson)
Huntsville (Ala.): Antonio Jackson (PG-Mississippi State), Reed Rawlings (SG-Samford)
Mobile (Ala.): Jason McCutcheon (SF-Nicholls St.), Donald Watts (SG-Washington)
