Chris Wright Selected to 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game
NEW YORK - February 3, 2013 - The National Basketball Association today announced that Maine Red Claws forward Chris Wright has been selected to participate in this year’s NBA D-League All-Star Game, which will be held on Saturday, Feb. 15 in New Orleans.
Wright (6-8, 225, Dayton), now in his third season with the Red Claws, is averaging a team-best 20.2 points (7th in the NBA D-League) to go along with 6.9 rebounds and 1.4 blocks. This is Wright's second selection to the All-Star Game in as many seasons, and makes him the first Red Claws player in Franchise history to be selected to multiple All-Star Games.

Wright will play for the Futures team which will be coached by Steve Hetzel of Canton. Joining Wright on the Futures team will be Hilton Armstrong (Santa Cruz), Seth Curry (Santa Cruz), Dewayne Dedmon (Santa Cruz), Justin Hamilton (Sioux Falls), Manny Harris (Los Angeles), Pierre Jackson (Idaho), Kevin Jones (Canton), DeAndre Liggins (Sioux Falls) and Malcolm Thomas (Los Angeles)
The Red Claws selected Wright with the third overall pick in the 2011 NBA D-League Draft. During his rookie season, the University of Dayton product earned a GATORADE Call-Up to the Golden State Warriors for the remainder of the season. He holds career averages of 18.8 points and 8.4 rebounds per game.
