PORTLAND, ME
(April 30, 2010) – Open auditions for the Maine Red Claws dance
team, the Lady Red Claws, will be held at the Portland Expo Building on
June 6, 2009 starting at 9:00 AM.
Dancers interested in auditioning for the team should download an
application for the 2010-11 Lady Red Claws at
www.maineredclaws.com,
which includes information about the auditions and team requirements.
Applications should be received by June 1.
Auditions will take place on Sunday, June 6, 2010 at 9:00 AM at the
Portland Expo Building located at 239 Park Avenue. Participants must be
at least 18 years old and be a high school graduate or equivalent. A
$25.00 non-refundable registration fee and applicant photo are required
for auditions. All participants will be judged by a panel consisting of
local choreographers, coaches, Maine Red Claws staff and guests.
Auditions are not open to the public.
The Lady Red Claws participate in a variety of community and team
functions and perform at all Red Claws home games. One of the hottest
tickets in sports in 2009-10, the Red Claws sold out all 24 of their
home games during their inaugural season, the first NBA Development
League team to accomplish the feat. Season ticket prices range from $240
to $600 for the 24-game regular season. A limited number of premium
seats are also available. Fans interested in purchasing Hollywood, Gold
or Silver ticket packages should call for 207-210-6655 for information.
End zone seats, which are reserved for individual ticket sale and group
sales, will once again not be available in a season ticket packages to
make them available to community and school groups. Individual tickets
will go on sale in November. Season tickets may be purchased by calling
