Maine Red Claws Select Six in 2013 NBA D-League Draft
PORTLAND, Maine - November 1, 2013 - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, selected six players last night in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft, including Terrance Henry with the 10th overall pick.
Henry was a four-year letter winner for Ole Miss, where ended his Rebel career ranked 28th on the all-time scoring list with 1,095 points and fifth all-time in blocks (113). In his senior year, the 6-9 forward was named to the All-SEC 2nd Team while averaging 12.3 points and 4.5 rebounds. After graduating, Henry was a member of the Memphis Grizzlies summer league summer league team, then went on to play for Hermine Nantes Atlantique (France) posting averages of 10.9 points and 4.4 rebounds.
The Red Claws held the first pick in the second round of the draft, selecting Frank Gaines out of IPFW. In his senior season, the 6-5 guard averaged 19.8 points and 4.0 rebounds on his way to earning All-Summit League 1st Team and Summit League All-Tournament Team honors.
