Q. YOU WERE DOWN AT THE NBA PRE-DRAFT CAMP IN ORLANDO…WHAT WAS THAT LIKE?

A. It was cool. All of the Lakers scouts were there and so where Ronny, Mitch and Coach Panaggio.

Q. WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR AT THE PRE-DRAFT CAMP?

A. I’m looking for players that I felt would be a great fit for the D-League. Someone that can play in the triangle, that can rebound, an active player and good shooters. It’s a chance to get to know something about the available players and see which ones we might like to bring into try-out.

Q. WHERE DO THE PLAYERS AT THE PRE-DRAFT CAMP COME FROM?

A. Most of them are right out of the college, a couple guys played overseas, and one in the ABA. And after the pre-draft camp they could end up in a team’s camp and then eventually come into the D-League pool.

Q. WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS SUMMER?

A. Working out and tenting to my family. I also look for players here at NC State. It’s basketball year-a-round.
