Q. The D-League Playoffs are coming up in a couple of weeks. What would it mean to you as a coach to make the playoffs? A. "It would make me proud and make me feel like I’ve done a good job. There is always room for improvement, but I am used to making the playoffs so making it again would definitely be an accomplishment. It lets you know that you are doing something right.” Q. What has been your favorite part about coaching this season? A. “I love working with our players and seeing guys want to get to the next level. I’ve seen our guys develop and get better over the season and that is very satisfying. I’ve seen certain guys like Andre Patterson and Chet Mason get better throughout the year.”
A. “It helps me because I know what they are going through. I played in the minor leagues too, so there is no excuse that they can give me or anything like that because I did it. I know what they are going through, so it helps me help them. It’s just that simple.” Q. What do you hope to accomplish career-wise in the D-League? A. "I hope to one day be a head coach, whether it be on a major college level or in the NBA. I would like to try all levels of coaching. Of course you would like to win championships and be the best at what you do, but you see the success of certain coaches like Phil Jackson and you want to be
