D-Fenders Tickets FAQ's

Toyota Sports Center management is dedicated to providing an exciting and memorable guest experience while ensuring the safety and security of all Guests. The following guide provides information and policies/rules for attending any Toyota Sports Center event. These policies apply to all guests. Guests who violate any of the policies will be escorted by security out of the arena. Additionally, Toyota Sports Center management reserves the right to suspend season ticket privileges for guests who do not comply with these event policies.

Airports

Toyota Sports Center is easily accessible from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA (BUR). Map page.

Aisles

For safety, and as a courtesy to other guests, aisles must be kept clear at all times. Please follow the directions of the usher in your section to your assigned ticketed seat and refrain from standing in the aisles.

Animals

Animals or pets of any kind are prohibited in Toyota Sports Center with the exception of trained service animals and service animals in training for guests with disabilities. Service animals are welcome inside the venue, but must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. Service animals will rest in the seating area of the individual with a disability, rather than in the aisle. A guest whose service animal poses a threat to the safety of other Toyota Sports Center guests and employees may be asked to escort the animal off the premises.

Autographs

After every game (2) D-Fenders players will sign autographs post-game.

Baby Changing Tables

Baby changing tables are located in the following locations:

  • Upstairs near café
  • Downstairs near last ice rink in the facility

Baby Bags/Bottles/Formula

Baby bags, plastic bottles, and formula are permitted into the building.

Bags/Backpacks/Large Bags/Suitcases

All bags larger than 14" square, i.e. backpacks, suitcases, beach bags, etc. will be prohibited from entry into the arena.

Backstage/Event Level

Guests who are seeking access backstage and/or to the event level may only do so with the proper credential. Guests who are found to be in these locations without proper credentials will be subject to ejection and/or arrest.

Ball in Play Policy

Toyota Sports Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Please be aware of our Whistle Policy, which requires guests to refrain from accessing their seats until the ball is no longer in play. This policy enables guests to enjoy an unobstructed view of the game.

Binoculars

Guests are welcome to bring their personal binoculars for D-Fenders games at Toyota Sports Center.

Box Office/Will Call

Tickets for D-Fenders basketball at Toyota Sports Center will be available at the box office table set up in front of the main entrance 1 ˝ hours before the start of every game.

Cameras/Photography

Non-professional, non-flash still photography is permitted at D-Fenders games (disposable, digital, or 35mm cameras with no interchangeable or telephoto lens). However, for some D-Fenders games, at the request of the team, cameras of any type may be prohibited. Video recording devices, audio recording devices, monopods, tripods, and cameras with telephoto or interchangeable lenses (professional photography equipment) are not permitted inside Toyota Sports Center at any time. Video recording on any device and/or flash photography is prohibited at all times. This policy will be strictly enforced and management reserves the right to deny any electronic device at their discretion.

Child Admissions

For all D-Fenders games, children 2 years of age and younger do not require a ticket to be admitted into Toyota Sports Center; however, they must sit on an adult's lap and may not occupy a seat. Any child 3 years of age and older will require a ticket to enter the arena and must occupy their ticketed seat only.

Coat Check

Toyota Sports Center does not provide an area to check coats or personal belongings. Toyota Sports Center is not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

Code of Conduct

Toyota Sports Center is committed to creating a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable entertainment experience. Guests have a right to expect an environment where:

  • Guests will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all venue personnel.
  • Guests will enjoy every event free from disruptive behavior, including foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
  • Guests will consume alcoholic beverages in a responsible manner. Intervention with an impaired, intoxicated or underage guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Guests will sit only in their ticketed seats and show their tickets when requested.
  • Guests who engage in fighting, throwing objects or attempting to enter the court will be immediately ejected from the venue.
  • Guests will not smoke in the venue, but in designated smoking areas only.
  • There will not be any obscene or indecent messages on signs or clothing.
  • Guests will comply with requests from venue staff regarding facility operations and emergency response procedures.
  • Guests will also be responsible for their own good time by reporting inappropriate behavior.

Toyota Sports Center arena staff has been trained to intervene when deemed necessary and to use their best discretion to help ensure that guests who ignore the Code of Conduct do not interfere with other guests' ability to enjoy a game. Guests who violate the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund and, to the extent their conduct constitutes a violation of law, may be subject to arrest. Season ticket holders may also be subject to having their season subscription revoked. We thank you for your cooperation.

Compliments, Comments, Concerns

During a game, guests are recommended to express any compliments, comments, or concerns at our Guest Services Center, located on the main floor above ice rink #1.

Disturbances

All Guests must maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. Guests using offensive language or engaging in disorderly conduct may be ejected from the facility and may be subject to arrest. Ejected Guests will not receive a refund for their tickets or be compensated in any way for their loss.

Disturbances include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Standing on chairs
  • Placing children on shoulders
  • Drunk and disorderly conduct
  • Fighting or challenging others to fight
  • "Mooning" or exposing private body parts
  • Interference with or delay of the game/event
  • Violation of Toyota Sports Center's event policies
  • Violation of the local, state, and federal laws and statues
  • Igniting and display of flames, i.e. lighters / matches, in the facility bowl
  • Attempting to enter the field of play, court, stage or backstage areas without permission
  • Throw, discharge, or launch any liquid substance or objects
  • Willfully and maliciously disturbing another Guest / employee with loud and unreasonable noise
  • Using profanity and/or offensive words, which are likely to provoke a violent reaction from others
  • Taunting or using offensive language against the players, referees, or performers

Door Opening

Door opening times for D-Fenders games will be 1 hour before tip.

Dress Code

All guests in attendance are required to wear a shirt and shoes at all times for their own safety. Toyota Sports Center management reserves the right to deny entry to guests wearing clothing items displaying offensive text and/or images. back to top

Emergencies/Evacuations

Toyota Sports Center continually works with the Los Angeles Fire Department, the Los Angeles Police Department, and other agencies in the development of specific Emergency Procedures Plans for each event. Toyota Sports Center's goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere by using installed automated security systems and appropriate security operating plans. Trained Guest Services and Security personnel will ensure the security and safety of all guests, performers, and employees at Toyota Sports Center. In the case of an emergency, guests must comply with requests from venue staff regarding arena operations and emergency response procedures.

Entrances

Main Entrances can be found at rear of the Toyota Sports Center. Enter the main entrance of Toyota Sports Center and head downstairs and to the back of the facility, Signs (with D-Fenders logo) will direct you to gym

Entry Inspections

All guests entering the arena are subject to a metal-detector screening, visual inspection, and bag inspection conducted by Toyota Sports Center Security personnel. The purpose of the inspection is to detect prohibited items.

Family Restrooms

All restroom facilities at Toyota Sports Center are wheelchair accessible and are clearly marked. In addition, family restrooms with changing tables are available in the following locations:

  • Upstairs near café
  • Downstairs near last ice rink in the facility

First Aid

Trained Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) personnel are available to assist any guest in need at every Toyota Sports Center event. First Aid offices are located on the Main floor. Toyota Sports Center is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) located in various locations throughout the facility. Designated employees, including our EMT staff, have been properly trained and certified to use the AED. In the event of a medical emergency, contact a member of our Guest Services or Security staff for assistance.

Flyers/Handouts/Product Samples

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, or printed materials is not permitted without written permission of Toyota Sports Center and/or its tenants. The sampling and distribution of products is prohibited.

Food and Beverage

Guests may not bring food and/or beverage items into the arena during events. Glass bottles or metal cans are strictly prohibited. Guests must dispose of the unauthorized items prior to entrance into the arena or return them to their vehicle. Guest Services Centers will not check-in or store any food or beverage items. Guests with specific/special dietary needs due to medical conditions or religious requirements should contact Guest Services to discuss food options available.

General Admission (GA) Floor

The General Admission area, located on the Floor of the arena, is first come first served seating. Doors will open at the same time for all guests.

Guest Services Center

The Guest Services Center is located on the main concourse of TSC near the main entrance.

Internet/Wi-Fi

Internet/Wi-Fi access is not available to guests at Toyota Sports Center.

Intoxicated Guests

Toyota Sports Center reserves the right to deny entry to intoxicated guests. Any intoxicated Guests causing a disturbance during an event will be asked to leave the facility and may be subject to arrest.

Laptop Computers

Laptops or any type of personal computers will not be admitted inside Toyota Sports Center.

Lost Children/Guests

Lost children/guests should be directed to our Guest Services Centers, located on the Main Floor of Toyota Sports Center. Parents looking for a lost child should contact the nearest Usher or Security Officer. For safety reasons Toyota Sports Center is unable to make in-arena announcements for lost children or guests.

Lost and Found

All lost and found items are taken to Guest Services Centers during events, located on the Main Floor of Toyota Sports Center. During an event, guests should visit a Guest Services Center to inquire about lost items. After an event, please contact Guest Services with a description of the item and the date the item was lost. Toyota Sports Center management assumes no responsibility for items lost at events.

Lost/Stolen Tickets

For lost tickets, guests must contact their point of purchase. For stolen tickets, guests should contact local law enforcement first, then their point of purchase. For more information, please contact the D-Fenders at 310-426-6043

National Anthem Singers

To inquire about singing the National Anthem at a D-Fenders game, please contact 310-426-6043 or bgarcia@d-fenders.com.

Prohibited Items

The following is a partial list of items that are prohibited at all Toyota Sports Center events and is subject to change. Please contact Guest Services for specific policies/information.

  • Weapons, pepper spray/mace, flares, fireworks
  • Food, beverage, alcohol, cans, bottles, flasks, coolers, drugs, illegal substances
  • Pamphlets, product samples
  • Skateboards, rollerblades, bicycles, helmets, chairs, beach balls
  • Laptop/Tablet computers, 2-way radios, laser pointers, flashlights
  • Balloons, permanent markers, spay paint
  • Noise making devices: air horns, drums, whistles
  • Cameras: no flash/professional photography, tripods or monopods
  • Recording Devices: audio or video
  • Bags (backpacks, large bags, suitcases, luggage): may not be larger than 14" x 14" Signs/Flags/Banners/Posters: may not be larger than 11" x 17" or attached to a pole/stick

Radios

Small hand held radios that are no larger than 6" x 6", and do not distract other guests, are permitted inside Toyota Sports Center. The use of headphones is required. 2-way radios will not be permitted.

Re-Entry

Toyota Sports Center has a "re-entry" policy during events. Guests who wish to return a prohibited item to their vehicle or need to exit and re-enter due to personal emergencies, must always have ticket on hand to re-enter the arena.

Recording Devices

Guests may not bring audio or video recording devices into the arena. These devices include, but are not limited to, video cameras/camcorders and audio recording devices. Any equipment not conforming to these rules must be removed from the premises.

Refund Policy

If you have to miss a game, here is the D-Fenders refund policy. All sales are final. If the D-Fenders are notified 3 days in advance of the ticketed game that the buyer is unable to attend the game, the D-Fenders would allow the buyer to exchange for another game of equal value. If the ticketed game has passed, there is no refund or credit issued.

Restrooms are located on the main floor of Toyota Sports Center and in front of the last ice rink of the facility.

Seating Capacity

Seating capacities for every D-Fenders game at Toyota Sports Center event is 336.

Signs/Banners/Posters/Flags

Unless otherwise specified by teams and/or event officials/management, Toyota Sports Center welcomes guests bringing small signs, banners, posters and flags inside the building to show fan support during events. The following guidelines relate to these items:

  • Item must be related to the event
  • Item may not be attached to a stick/pole
  • Item may not be larger than 11" x 17" in dimension
  • Item may not obstruct any sponsors/advertisers signage
  • Item may not be hung, attached, or displayed on any part of the building
  • Item may not contain or display obscene/offensive language and/or pictures, as determined by Toyota Sports Center management
  • Item may not be constructed or displayed in a manner that mat obstruct the view of other guests or in any way create a safety hazard for others as determined by Toyota Sports Center management

Smoking/Non-Smoking Environment

Smoking is not permitted in the arena at any time

Standing Policy

Guests are allowed to stand during an event, provided that they are only occupying the area in front of their ticketed seat. Standing in aisles, and on chairs is strictly prohibited.

Strollers

Guests are encouraged to leave strollers in their vehicles prior to arrival at the arena. Strollers are not permitted in the seating sections of the arena

Taxi Service

Guests needing to call a taxi may go to any one of our Guest Services Centers for assistance.

Temperature

The temperature inside Toyota Sports Center during most games is approximately 75 degrees.

Ticket Resale

To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen or voided tickets, guests should make their purchases through authorized outlets only.
Los Angeles Municipal Code SEC. 42.03 states: "No person in or upon any public street, sidewalk, or other public place shall sell or re-sell or offer to sell or re-sell any ticket of admission to a place of public assemblage. No person in or upon any place which is open to the public shall sell or re-sell or offer to sell or re-sell any ticket of admission to a place of public assemblage."

Water/Drinking Fountains

Water/drinking fountains are located upstairs near the restroom on the main floor of Toyota Sports Center.

Weapons Prohibited

Guests, including law enforcement personnel not present in an official capacity, are prohibited from bringing weapons into the arena. Toyota Sports Center does not provide weapon lockers and will not check in weapons at Guest Services. Weapons include, but are not limited to, the following: firearms, explosives, stun guns, handcuffs, brass knuckles, sticks, clubs, batons, martial arts instruments, pepper spray, tear gas, knives, etc. Guests found in possession of the above-mentioned items will be asked to remove the item from the arena or dispose of it. Guests who refuse to comply will be ejected from the arena and may be subject to arrest.

Wheelchair Escorts

Our Guest Service Services Center provides complimentary wheelchair escorts to guests with special needs when requested. Escorts are available at any entry point or guests may make advance escort arrangements by contacting Guest Services.

Will Call

Will call is setup every game outside the front entrance of Toyota Sports Center 1 ˝ hours before the start of every game.
