D-Fenders at Skyforce Game Notes

Here are some interesting tidbits of information covering both the Sioux Falls Skyforce and Los Angeles D-Fenders in advance of Fridayís matchup. Tip-off is at 5:00 p.m.:

- DeAndre Liggins, the No. 11 overall prospect on the NBA D-League Watch Board, averages 14.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.8 steals. Liggins was a former second-round pick (53rd overall) of the Orlando Magic in 2011 and split time between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Tulsa 66ers in last season.
- Justin Hamilton, the No. 20 overall prospect, averages 18.3 points, 9.4 rebounds and 1.6 blocks on 50.0 percent field goals. Hamilton was a second-round selection of the Philadelphia 76ers in 2012, but was later sent to Miami in a draft-night trade. He participated in training camp with the Heat earlier this year, but was waived prior to the start of the 2013-14 season.
- Larry Drew II, who played at UCLA last season, also signed with the Miami Heat in training camp, but was waived after appearing in one preseason game. He averages 7.7 points and 7.0 assists. His dad, Larry Drew, is currently the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks.
- Sioux Falls has won six games in a row, defeating Fort Wayne, Tulsa (twice), at Maine, at Springfield and Iowa. During this stretch, the Skyforce are averaging 106.8 points per game on 45.6 percent field goals and 39.2 percent on three-pointers.
- The Skyforce rank first in opponent points per game (92.1) and first in opponent field-goal percentage (40.7). They have held opponents under 100 points in five straight contests, and in 10 of their 11 games this season.

- Since being acquired from the Canton Charge on Dec. 8, Manny Harris is averaging 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals on 52.9 percent field goals in four games.
- Travis Hyman has recorded double-digit rebounds in three straight games, and has grabbed at least four offensive boards in four straight.
- Andre Ingram has recorded back-to-back 17-point games off the bench. Ingram has made at least two three-pointers in four straight and ranks eighth in the league in three-point field goal percentage (44.8, minimum of 25 attempts).
- The D-Fenders rank second in the league in three-point field goals made (12.1), trailing only the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (17.4).
- Los Angeles ranks first in assists per game (25.6). Josh Magette leads the team with 5.9 per game, followed by Jamario Moonís 4.4.
- The D-Fenders rank third in points per game (114.3), trailing the Iowa Energy (115.2) and Rio Grande (128.0). Los Angeles also ranks third in pace (110.1), behind Iowa (110.7) and Rio Grande (110.3).
