During the 2011-2012 NBA D-League basketball season, Valor Academy has become one of the D-Fenders biggest fans. They have come to several games and even had a special FIT Live Healthy Week visit from some of the players to talk about the importance of living a healthy lifestyle.

This week Valor informed the D-Fenders of their final basketball game of the season, which was played on Wednesday, March 14th. With this news Otis George, D-Fender Forward, wanted to make a special visit to Valor Academy to cheer them on.

“It is important to support our fans and the community. Valor Academy has been such a great presence at our games, so the least I could do was make a visit to support them at their last game of the season. It was fun to watch them out there competing, and what was even better was they won!” Otis George.
