DES MOINES, IA. July 13, 2012 – The Iowa Energy will have nine former players participating in NBA Summer Leagues this summer, led by sharpshooter Moses Ehambe, who will suit up for the San Antonio Spurs.
The NBA features two Summer Leagues, one in Orlando and one in Las Vegas, designed to provide opportunities for young NBA players, recent draft picks and free agents a chance to play in front of NBA executives and coaches.
In addition to the nine players, Head Coach Kevin Young will assist the New Orleans Hornets in Summer League while Energy Assistant Coach Gene Cross will be on the Atlanta Hawk bench.
The Orlando Summer League wraps up today while the Las Vegas Summer League tips off this afternoon and will continue through July 22nd.
