ENERGY’S MOSES EHAMBE TO COMPETE IN NBA D-LEAGUE 3-POINT COMPETITION
Contest to Occur as Part of NBA All-Star Weekend in Orlando

DES MOINES, IA. Feb. 20, 2012 – Iowa Energy sharp-shooter Moses Ehambe has been selected to compete in the NBA D-League 3-Point Shootout as part of the NBA & NBA D-League All-Star Weekend in Orlando, FL.

Ehambe, a 6’6” wing who played his college ball at Oral Roberts, is averaging 14.2 points per game while shooting 43.1% from 3-point range this year. In his 146 game NBA D-League career, Ehambe has made 332 3-pointers while shooting 44.4% from that distance.

A pair of 3-Point Competition champions, Booker Woodfox (Texas Legends), who won in 2011 and Blake Ahearn (Reno Bighorns), who was victorious in the event in 2009, will join Ehambe and Lee Humphrey (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) in the event. The Competition has two rounds, featuring a moveable ‘Money Rack’ consisting of all ‘Money’ balls, each worth three points. From the field of four, the two players with the highest scores will move on to Round Two and the player with the highest score in Round Two is the winner.

The 3-Point Competition will take place following the conclusion of the NBA D-League All-Star Game on Saturday and will be streamed live on nba.com/futurecast. The NBA D-League All-Star game will tip at 1pm CT.
