ENERGY’S JOSH BOONE OUT FOR SEASON WITH INJURED KNEE
Former NBA Big Man Played Two Games for Iowa

DES MOINES, IA, Jan. 26, 2013 – Former NBA center Josh Boone, recently acquired by the Iowa Energy, has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury.

Boone, who played four seasons with the New Jersey Nets, was acquired by the Energy on January 17th after starting the season playing in China. After joining the Energy, Boone averaged 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He injured his knee towards the end of the second game and missed the Energy’s games on Tuesday and Friday.
