League Leading 3-Point Shooter Returns to Defending Champs

DES MOINES, IA, September 21, 2011 - Guard Moses Ehambe, who led the NBA D-League in 3-point shooting during the 2010-11 season, has signed with the Iowa Energy for the upcoming year. Ehambe, a 6’5” sniper out of Oral Roberts, shot 46.3% from behind the arc during his 17 games with the Energy last year. He averaged 14.5 points per game for Iowa after being acquired in a trade with the Austin Toros in March.

“Moses is a great first piece for our defense of the championship,” said Energy General Manager Chris Makris. “Not only is he a talented player, but he is a high quality person who is a winner. We expect big things out of him this year.”

Ehambe ranks 6th in 3-pointers made in NBA D-League history with 270. This offseason, Ehambe worked in the Energy office helping establish the Energy Always Foundation, a non-profit arm of the franchise.
