Lance Allred was an All-D-League Third Team honoree, averaging 15.5 points and 9.2 rebounds in 45 games with the Stampede. Allred later published his autobiography in May of 2009, called "Longshot: The Adventures of a Deaf Fundamentalist Mormon Kid and His Journey to the NBA."

Gates, Livingston, Allred each noteworthy in 2008-09

The 2008-09 season saw the Stampede attempting to defend their NBA D-League title. Idaho finished the season 31-19, but lost in the first round of the playoffs. But along the way, and immediately after the season, the Stampede had many highlights. Two-time D-League Coach of the Year Bryan Gates became the first coach in Stampede history to win 100 games, Lance Allred published his autobiography and Randy Livingston had his jersey, number 32, retired, finishing his career as the organization's all-time leader in games, points, field goals, free throws, assists, steals and call-ups to the NBA.
