STAMPEDE OUTLAST FLASH FOR 124-111 WIN IN PRESEASON ACTION

BOISE, Idaho (November 23, 2009) – The Idaho Stampede defeated the Utah Flash in their preseason game 124-111 in Burley, Idaho.

Both teams had six players score in double-digit figures including the Flash’s Orien Greene who came off the bench and went 6-9 with 16 points and seven rebounds. Anthony Tolliver scored a team high 24 points for the Stampede while Sundiata Gaines and Emmanuel Jones came off the bench to score 17 and 12 points, respectively.

“I am really excited to start off the season with a win,” said Stampede Head Coach Bob MacKinnon. This will really help us build momentum going into the start of the regular season.”

Also scoring in double figures for the Flash was Dontell Jefferson with 14 points, Andre Ingram with 11, Gavin Grant with 15, Luke Nevill with 11, and Garret Siler with 15. Scoring in double figures for the Stampede was Roberto Bergersen with 14 points, Jeff Graves with 11, and Mike Gansey with ten.

Utah travels to Tulsa for their first regular season game on Friday, November 27 while Idaho heads home to take on the Reno Bighorns Saturday, November 28 and Qwest Arena in Downtown Boise.
