Sene, Miles Recalled to NBA Teams From Stampede

Jan. 26, 2007 – Sonics General Manager Rick Sund announced today that the team has recalled center Mouhamed Sene from the Idaho Stampede of the NBA Development League. Also today, Utah Jazz senior vice president of basketball operations, Kevin O’Connor, announced that the team has recalled C.J. Miles from the Stampede.

Sene played in eight games with Idaho, averaging 7.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 18.4 minutes per game. He has appeared in 16 games for the Sonics so far this season, averaging 0.9 points and 1.1 rebounds per game.

Miles played in eight games for the Stampede, averaging 17.3 points and 5.4 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game. The second-year guard has appeared in 21 games for the Jazz this season averaging 3.1 points and 1.0 rebound in 11.5 minutes per game.

Selected by the Jazz in the second round (34th pick overall) of the 2005 NBA Draft, Miles averaged 12.7 points and 3.4 rebounds in 11 games last season with the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the D-League.
