BOISE, Idaho – September 24, 2007—As Qwest Arena gears up for another action-packed season of hockey, basketball and arena football, fans are invited to come down and experience all three sports for free on Thursday, October 11th from 5:00 pm through to 8:00 pm.

The Idaho Steelheads, Idaho Stampede and Boise Burn will be giving away prizes as fans test their skill competing in a ‘triathlon’ of hockey, basketball and football challenges. Facility tours including locker rooms, the Sports Zone and VIP Lounge will be available. The teams have set aside special blocks of seats for this event, and any fan who purchases season tickets to any one of the teams will also receive a special gift.

Qwest Arena will, for the first time, be configured in thirds, with a hockey rink, basketball court and indoor football field all set up simultaneously. Fans will take to the ice to try to score a goal in a regulation hockey net; shooting hoops on center court will present another challenge; and on the turf, fans will have the opportunity to kick a field goal just like an af2 kicker.

Fans will be able to meet team representatives, mascots and dancers (Stampede Spirit and Boise Burn Hotshots). Complimentary food and Pepsi products will be available, and a no host bar with beer and wine. Merchandise from all three teams will also be on sale.

Qwest Arena is celebrating its Tenth Anniversary in 2007, and is one of the premier sports and entertainment venues in the Northwest. The Idaho Steelheads are the defending ECHL Kelly Cup Champions and will open defense of the title on October 19th. The Idaho Stampede are entering their Tenth Anniversary Season in 2007-08, and will open their third campaign at Qwest Arena on November 30th. The NBA Development League Showcase will come to the Arena on January 14th-17th. The Boise Burn completed its inaugural af2 season this summer, and will open its second season in the spring.
