Kaniel Dickens never even played organized basketball until his friend convinced him to his Senior Year in high school. From there he worked his way to Junior College, University of Idaho, European basketball, the Idaho Stampede, then the NBA. Great story about a great guy.

Most Outstanding Foundation

The Idaho Stampede Community Foundation will be honored on National Philanthropy Day as the Idaho Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals named it the 2014 Most Outstanding Foundation. The team will accept the award on November 12.

Stampede to Retire Bergersen's Number

The Idaho Stampede will retire Roberto Bergersen's #11 jersey in honor of his record breaking career and outstanding efforts in the Boise community. The ceremony will take place on the Stampede's opening night: Friday November 14, 2014

14/15 Schedule Announced

The Stampede have released the 2014-15 regular season schedule. Idaho will open the season at home on Friday, November 14 against the Erie BayHawks. The Stampede will also host its first ever game on Christmas Day against the Reno Bighorns.

Justin Holiday was known for his defensive capabilities to go along with excellent 3-pt shooting. After a year with the Idaho Stampede, Holiday gained the skills and confidence to take opponents off the dribble and blossomed into a great all-around player, which ultimately landed him on an NBA roster.

Stampede Introduce Dean Cooper

The Utah Jazz have hired Dean Cooper to be the 10th head coach in Idaho Stampede history. Cooper most recently coached with the Houston Rockets as an assistant under Kevin McHale. He also has experience working with the Minnesota Timberwolves and Portland Trail Blazers.

Jackson makes league's top stories

Otto Kitsinger
Pierre Jackson's historic night made the NBA Development League's top 10 stories from the 2013-14 regular season. On Feb 4, 2014, Jackson scored a league record 58 points on 24-33 shooting and 7-13 from beyond the arc. Pierre finished the season with 29.1 points per game.

Stampede alum at NBA Summer League

Nolan Smith (OKC), Justin Harper (DET), Terrico White (MEM) and Dee Bost (IND) are all fighting for a roster spot in Orlando at the NBA Summer League. Follow them at nba.com/nbatv.
