Idaho Stampede Dancers - Spirit Dance Team




TAMRA C.
Originally from Idaho Falls, Tamra was Team Captain of her high school cheer team-The Tigerettes. A Dean's List regular at Boise State, she was also a three-time national dance champion with the BSU Mane Line Dancers.

Tamra recently graduated with a B.S. degree in psychology and is returning to the Stampede Spirit for her third season.

As if dancing for the Stampede, going to college and working part-time isn't enough-Tamra also instructed dance at Dance Dimensions and currently instructs at Dance Unlimited.

Her training in ballet, jazz, hip-hop and modern dance make her a skillful, styly addition to the Spirit team.

Her hobbies include playing with her dogs-Craig and Luke, working out, spending time with friends and family and music.

Her advice to youngsters: "You can''t make anyone else happy unless you make yourself happy."

JESSICA H.
Jessica originally hails from Walla Walla, Washington where she danced on the Eastern Washington Elite dance team. Jessica was awarded 3rd place All-Star Division UDA High School Nationals in Orlando, Florida.

At Washington State University, she performed at the 1999 Rose Bowl Parade and Bowl with the WSU Pom Squad.

After transferring to Boise State, she was a 2 Year National Champion at USA National Dance Team Competition with the Mane Line dance team.

This season marks Jessica's third season with the Stampede and she couldn't be more excited to entertain you at home games.

Her hobbies include golf, dance, exercising, and decorating her home.

She loves Seinfeld and Monday Night Football nearly as much as her favorite foods sushi/stir-fry and cereal.

Her advice to youngsters is: "Hard work and dedication is a sure fire way to achieve your goals."

JESSICA R.
A graduate of Timberline High School, Jessica is a Dean's List student at Boise State, majoring in Psychology and Criminal Justice.

Her background as a dancer begins with Dance Dimensions, where she studied, ballet, tap, jazz and hip hop. In 2003, she formed the group "4-Mation," and went on to win 1st place overall at the Spotlight Dance Cup. She has traveled the States performing at Disneyland, Disneyworld, and Big Red Boat Cruise Ships among others.

Look for her C jumps, leaps and bubbly personality on the court at Stampede home games.

ASHLEY D.
Ashley brings southern charm to the Spirit team with her Tennessee roots extending back to her home town in Clarksville. A dancer since childhood, Ashley attended Clarksville Dance Academy where she emphasized on ballet, jazz and hip hop styles. The Academy focused on performance and competition teams which was ideal training for her future role as a Spirit team member.

In High School, Ashley was on the Northeast High Pom Squad for 2 years and also with the Memphis Redbirds Pom Squad her senior year. This Who’s Who Among American High School Students dancer excelled with Honors and was part of Duke University’s Talent Search Program.

Performing in front of large crowds is Ashley’s true love and her driving force, and she’ll be the first to tell you that she ‘always dances like it’s the last time.’

LISA C.
Lisa has returned for her third season with the Spirit Dance Team. A Borah High School graduate, she was on the dance team for two years performing and competing at local and regional competitions.

As a Boise State Mane Line dancer, Lisa excelled at choreographing halftime routines as well as coordinating fundraising, among other administrative functions. Throughout college Lisa worked with H Dance Force as a Dance and Tumbling Instructor, teaching technique to a variety of age groups.

A highly motivated and creative dancer, Lisa brings enthusiasm and a competitive drive to the Spirit dance team.

MORGAN L.
A 2002 graduate of Eagle High, Morgan danced at Studio C for 3 years while performing on the Eagle High School dance team.

Attending Boise State University, she has danced on the Mane Line dance team for 2 years and had the opportunity to travel to Vegas, Orlando, Anaheim and Fort Worth en route to two national titles.

Morgan is thrilled to be a part of the Spirit team for the last two years. Her dedication to dance and excitement for performing at games has never been greater.

HAILEY H.
Hailey, originally from Idaho Falls is a returning Spirit dance team member. She has been cheerleading for 9 years with 3 years at Boise State. A Dean's List student, she combines athleticism with scholastic aptitude.

A studio dancer with a style her own, Hailey brings fun and flare to the court night after night. Her hobbies include dancing, working out and reading.

A little known fact about Hailey is that her favorite TV show is the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Her greatest food cravings are for pizza and doughnuts.

Hailey’s advice to Youngsters: "Believe in yourself, be grateful for what you have, and use your hardships to make you stronger."

HILLARY B.
Hillary was born and raised in Boise and attended Centennial High School where she was on the Sweet Liberty Dance Team. As a Senior Team member at Dance Unlimited, Hillary excelled at advanced jazz and ballet. She has a lighthearted sense of humor, and was titled ‘class clown’ by her graduating class in the senior best category.

Hillary attends Boise State University, majoring in Communications. In her freshman year she made the Mane Line Dance Team, performing at games and competing in national dance competitions.

Motivated to grow as a dancer, expect to see Hillary wowing the crowd at Stampede home games with her flexibility and showmanship.

JENN HUTER – Director, Spirit Dance Team
Jenn was recently promoted to the Spirit Dance Team Director after serving as the Assistant Director and Dance Team Captain the previous year. She recently graduated from Boise State University where she was a member of the Dean’s List. Jenn enjoys traveling, exercise and wakeboarding and lists Desperate House Wives and Milkshakes as two of her favorites.

Jenn’s advice to youngsters: “Work hard, play hard, dream big....” While Jenn loves performing for Stampede fans she also takes great joy in getting to talk with kids after the game.
