Fans are encouraged to grab tickets early for big games

BOISE, Idaho (October 31, 2006) The Idaho Stampede will begin the sale of individual game tickets on Friday, November 3 at 10 a.m. The sale will give fans the opportunity to purchase single game tickets for the Stampede inaugural 2006-07 NBA Development League season as the direct affiliate for the Utah Jazz and Seattle SuperSonics.

A limited amount of seats are still available for the 24-home game schedule including the Stampede Opening Night, which starts on Friday, November 24 at 7 p.m. against the Colorado 14ers. Beginning this Friday, Stampede tickets are available at the Qwest Arena Box Office, located at 233 S. Capitol Blvd. in downtown Boise. In addition to non-stop entertainment on the court, the Stampede have an exciting array of promotional events scheduled. On Opening Night (Nov. 24), the first 500 kids will receive a free Stampede youth jersey, courtesy of Simplot. Basketball fans and their families can also look forward to future promotions, giveaways and exciting halftime entertainment, such as the Beale Street Flippers (Nov. 24 & 25), Lilia Stepanova, the contortionist (Dec. 23), Bounce (Jan. 12), Seattle SuperSonics Affiliate Night (Feb. 3), Utah Jazz Afilliate Night (Mar. 3), The Balancing Brothers (Mar. 16), The Long Stick Basketball Show (Apr. 7), Quick Change (Apr. 13) and Dania Kaseeva (Apr. 14). The schedule will also feature Faith and Family Nights, Boy Scout and Girl Scout Nights, Breast Cancer Awareness Night, Teacher Appreciation Night, and many other special games spotlighting local groups and talented performers in the Treasure Valley.
