2014 NBA D-League Showcase

The Idaho Stampede hit the stage at the 2014 NBA D-League Showcase during the first week of January. Although the team went 1-1, they certainly put on a show in front of NBA scouts and GM's.

Pierre Jackson took home MVP honors scoring 61 points over the two games. Pierre also showed NBA personnel that he can do more than just score. Jackson tallied 15 assists and 9 rebounds en route to being named to First Team All-Showcase.

Dallas Lauderdale finished the two games with a total of 14 points, 18 rebounds, and 11 blocks. The 6'8 forward impressed scouts with his 7'6 wing-span and the ability to rise above the basket on both sides of the floor. Dee Bost posted a triple-double in the second game of the Showcase with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists. The feat was Bost's first career triple-double of his life. Both Lauderdale and Bost received Honorable Mentions for their efforts in Reno.

GAME 1 Although the Stampede typically display their high-powered offense, they found themselves in a dog fight against the Central Division leading Canton Charge. The Stampede won 93-88.

GAME 2 After cruising most of the game, the Stampede went cold in the 4th quarter and were upset by the Erie BayHawks, 97-90.
