Mensah-Bonsu Thrives in Toros Debut

TULSA, Okla., Jan. 30, 2009 -- Eric Dawson registered 24 points and 11 rebounds and Pops Mensah-Bonsu added 23 and 13 in his debut as the Austin Toros thrashed the Tulsa 66ers, 111-91, on Friday night.

Ezra Williams contributed 20 points for Austin, which outrebounded Tulsa, 50-33, and dished out 10 additional assists. The Toros led the entire game and by as many as 27.

Ryan Humphrey paced the 66ers with 24 points, while Keith Clark added 23 and Moses Ehambe scored 16. Tulsa, which has lost three straight, managed to shoot nearly 50 percent from the floor.

These two teams will have a rematch on Saturday.
