ANAHEIM, Nov. 20 -- Mike Efevberha drained a game-winning jumper with 2.5 seconds left to give the Anaheim Arsenal a 102-100 preseason home victory over the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday night.
Cedric Bozeman led the way for the Arsenal with 20 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Efevberha finished with 19 points and six rebounds.
The Jam got production from 2008 NBA D-League Draft first-round pick Derrick Byars, who scored 15 points. But it wasn’t enough to prevent Bakersfield from relinquishing an early 17-point advantage in their preseason opener.
Jeff Trepagnier also poured in 15 points, while Terrance Thomas added 14 for the Jam.
