TULSA, Okla., April 6 – The Idaho Stampede defeated the Tulsa 66ers, 123-117, on Sunday at the Expo Square Pavilion.
Mike Taylor came off the bench to score 32 points for the Stampede. Luke Jackson contributed 27 points, Roberto Bergersen added 25, Josh McRoberts 15 and Cory Violette 13.
Tulsa was paced by Derrick Dial’s 23 points. Mike Hall added 20 points and eight rebounds, while Jason Fontenet chipped in with 19 points and five assists. Jeremy Kelly came off the bench to pour in 18 points and Keith Closs added 14..
The Stampede shot 56 percent from the floor, while Tulsa connected for 54 percent. Tulsa shot better from behind the arch, hitting 8-of-17, while Idaho shot 10-of-30.
Tulsa will wrap up its 2007-08 regular season on the road. The 66ers will go to Texas to take on the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Friday night and the Toros on Saturday night. Tipoff for both games is slated for 7 p.m.
Sunday's loss was the 66ers' final home game.
