Arsenal Surge Past Stampede

ANAHEIM, Feb. 23 -- For the second night in a row, the Anaheim Arsenal and the Idaho Stampede met at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho. Last night, the Stampede had a commanding victory over the Arsenal. Saturday, Anaheim returned the favor crushing Idaho 107-91.

Five Arsenal players scored in double figures, and were led by forward Mo Charlo who had 25 points, going 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Guard Yuta Tabuse provided a spark off the bench scoring 12 points, while Ivan Johnson and Marcus Campbell both recorded double-doubles for the second night in a row. Johnson recorded 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Campbell had 12 points and 11 rebounds.

The Arsenal defense held strong in the fourth quarter of play, not allowing a single Stampede field-goal until 7:06 left in the game. Mo Charlo and Kedrick Brown led the Arsenal in steals, recording four and three, respectively.

Anaheimís next game will be on the road at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday, Feb. 26th at 3:00 p.m. against rival L.A. D-Fenders, D-League affiliate of the L.A. Lakers. The Arsenal will play again at home on Wednesday, March 5th against the Iowa Energy at The Arena at the Anaheim Convention Center.
