Stampede Hold Off Energy

DES MOINES, Iowa, Feb. 18 -- The Idaho Stampede improve to 24-7 on the year after defeating the Iowa Energy on Monday night. Four Stampede starters scored in double digits to defeat the Iowa Energy 108-100.

Mike Taylor led the Stampede with 23 points, five rebounds and six assists while teammate Randy Livingston tallied 21 points, 12 assists and nine rebounds.

Jackie Manuel led the Energy with 17 points and seven rebounds, and former Iowa Hawkeyes standout Jeff Horner contributed 20 points and nine assists. Fabricio Vay scored a season high with 18 points in Iowa's loss.

The Energy drop to 14-17 on the year. The Energy next play the Dakota Wizards on Feb. 20. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.

The Stampede next play the Anaheim Arsenal on Feb. 22. Game time is set for 6:00 p.m.
