Skyforce Win Fourth Straight, Top T-Birds

Albuquerque, N.M., January 26, 2008 Chris Alexander tipped in the game-winning shot with 3.2 seconds remaining to lift the Sioux Falls Skyforce to a thrilling 103-102 triumph over the Albuquerque Thunderbirds for their fourth straight win.

Alexander finished with 17 points and 17 rebounds, while Kasib Powell scored 18 and David Bailey chipped in with 17 points. Josh Gross had a game-high 23 points and teammate Daniel Horton scored 19 for Albuquerque.

The Thunderbirds overcame a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit and took the lead on a Horton 3-pointer with 24 ticks left.

It was a physical game from the opening tip for both teams as Albuquerque committed 27 fouls compared to 21 by Sioux Falls.
