Stampede Win 13th Straight Game, Remain Undefeated at Home
Idaho 97, Los Angeles 90

BOISE, Idaho, Jan. 24 – The Idaho Stampede won their 13th straight game Thursday night, defeating the Los Angeles D-Fenders, 97-90, and setting a D-League record for consecutive home wins with 12.

The Stampede, who have not lost since Dec. 15, are two wins off the all-time D-League record of 15 consecutive wins by the Greenville Groove from Feb. 10-March 14, 2002. They visit Los Angeles on Saturday.

Randy Livingston had 23 points, 11 assists and seven rebounds for Idaho. Mike Taylor provided a spark off the bench with 24 points and Josh McRoberts - on an NBA assignment from the Portland Trail Blazers - added 11 points. Brent Petway pulled down a season-high 13 rebounds for the Stampede.

Taylor scored 16 points in the final quarter as Idaho broke open a close game and assumed a 92-83 lead on Livingston's 3-pointer with 2:21 remaining. A 7-0 run by the D-Fenders, capped by layups by Devin Green and Jelani McCoy, cut the deficit to two points with 33 seconds to play.

But Livingston found Taylor on the right wing, and Taylor buried a 3-pointer with 22 seconds left to put the game out of reach.

Los Angeles opened with a 10-2 run before Idaho scored six straight points. Sean Banks scored 11 points in the first period, helping the D-Fenders to a 26-23 advantage.

Banks scored 10 points in the third period, when both teams struggled from the field as Idaho shot 6-of-21 and Los Angeles shot 4-of-18. Green's 3-pointer gave the D-Fenders a 67-65 lead heading into the final period.

Banks scored 27 points, Cecil Brown added 16 and Stephane Lasme and McCoy had 10 apiece for Los Angeles (15-7), which fell 2 1/2 games behind Idaho in the Western Division. Green grabbed 11 rebounds.
