Los Angeles 104, Iowa 96

DES MOINES, Iowa, Dec. 20 -- The Los Angeles D-Fenders improved their winning streak tonight by defeating the Energy 104-96. The D-Fenders led throughout the entire game and by as much as 36 in the third quarter.

Five D-Fender players scored in double-digits tonight. Devin Green scored a team-high of 23 while Brian Chase added 17 points. The D-Fenders made an impressive 57.9 percent behind the three-point line while the Energy made only 33.3 percent.

Energy player of the game, Demetris Nichols showed his versatility with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 three-pointer. Dwayne Mitchell was close behind with 18 points and 4 rebounds.

The Energy drop to 6-5 on the year where the D-Fenders improve to 8-3 overall. The Energy travel to Fort Wayne on Dec. 22 to play the Mad Ants. The Energy plays their next home game Dec. 23 against the Tulsa 66ers.
