Toros Run Down Stampede, 127-117

AUSTIN, TX, Dec. 15 – With five players scoring in double figures, the Austin Toros defeated the Idaho Stampede, 127-117, on Saturday night at the Austin Convention Center.

Marcus Williams scored 29 points for the Toros, which extended their winning streak to seven games and remained a perfect 6-0 at home for the season.

The 127 points scored by the Toros is a franchise record for points in a game.

Austin also sank 15 3-pointers, another set a franchise record. The previous record was 12, which the team matched in April last season at Dakota.

Keith Langford, who has scored 20 or more points in seven of eight games this season, scored 29 points for the Toros. DerMarr Johnson had 23 while Kevin Pittsnogle finished with a season-high 17 points.

Roberto Bergersen scored a season-high 31 points for Idaho, which fell to 5-5 this season. Lance Allred had 18 and Randy Livingston added 17.

Austin’s previous record for points in a game was 122 on March 8, 2006 against the Fayetteville Patriots in their first season in the NBA's D-League.
