Mad Ants Run Win Streak to Three

Fort Wayne 126, Bakersfield 113

FORT WAYNE, Ind., Dec. 4 -- The Fort Wayne Mad Ants moved atop the NBA Development League Central Division standings with a 126-113 win over the Bakersfield Jam Tuesday at Memorial Coliseum.

Jeremy Richardson the reigning D-League Player of the Week who is averaging 33 points in his last three games, led the Mad Ants with 31 points and eight rebounds. Fort Wayne ran its win streak to three straight with back-to-back home victories, beating Utah 102-90 on Monday.

On Tuesday, the Mad Ants led by as many as 28 points against the Jam. Fort Wayne shot an incredible 69 percent from the floor in the first quarter to build a commanding 48-19 lead.  

Cory Minnifield posted his first double-double of the season with 19 points and 10 rebounds for the Mad Ants. Earl Calloway added 19 points and nine assists, while Rod Wilmont tallied 17 points.   

Bakersfield's Brandon Bowman led all scorers with 33 points on 70 percent shooting. Scooter McFadgon finished with 20 points and Roderick Riley added 14 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.
