66ers Fall To Colorado In Home Opener

Tulsa, Okla., Nov. 30, 2007 – The Tulsa 66ers opened their home season losing 100-104 to the Colorado 14ers Friday night at Expo Square Pavilion.

With 4:39 remaining in the fourth quarter Lou White’s 3-pointer tied the game 89-89. Tulsa’s Ramon Sessions, fought back and scored bringing the 66ers into the lead by two. The 14ers regained control with 3:05 left in the game, winning 104-100.

The 14ers (3-1) were led in scoring by forward Kaniel Dickens with 29 points on 8-of-16 shooting and 7-of-7 free throws. Also scoring in double-figures were Elton Brown with 19 points, Damien Lolar with 16 points, Julian Sensley with 13 points and Lou White with 10 points.

Tulsa was paced by Ramon Sessions’ giving the young man on assignment from the Milwaukee Bucks 67 points in his last two games and a total of 19 assists and 21 rebounds. Fazekas (18) and Adam Harrington (17) also scored in the double-figures.

The 66ers will take on the Rio Grande Vipers Sunday night. Tipoff is slated for 6 p.m.
