“That’s part of our second line stepping up. Sometimes you need that in a 50 game season,” said 14ers coach Joe Wolf. “It was our third game in four nights with a lot of travel, and tonight was one of those nights where our starters didn’t quite have the energy.”
Antoine Hood played a season-high 39 minutes and scored 16 points for Colorado. Louis Amundson posted another double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
The trio of Stephen Graham, Frank Williams, and Amir Johnson combined for 62 of Sioux Falls 97 points, led by Graham’s 22. Johnson added 10 rebounds and five blocked shots to go along with his 20 points for the Skyforce. The loss ends a three game winning streak for Sioux Falls.
The Skyforce continue on the road at Albuquerque March 8 and 9. The 14ers will host the Los Angeles D-Fenders at the Broomfield Event Center March 9 and 10.
