Howard wrapped up the best season of his six-year NBA D-League career (all of them with Fort Wayne) -- one in which he scored almost three points a night (19.1 ppg) more than his lifetime average, posted more steals than any other season and blew away his previous career highs in assists (4.7) -- with two more nights that showed why, at 30 years old, he kept himself in the Prospect conversation all year: in a two-game sweep at the hands of Santa Cruz, he put up 23.5 points on 48-percent shooting and 23 trips to the line in two games.
