Our current No. 1 Prospect (as of Dec. 7) is no stranger to the limelight. Before cracking into the NBA, Chris-Douglas Roberts was a Mario Chalmers 3-point shot away from winning a national title when his Memphis team fell to Kansas in OT in the 2008 NCAA Championship game.

Teaming up with, most notably, Derrick Rose, Douglas-Roberts and Memphis became the first team in NCAA history to win 38 games in a season, with the Tigers taking the nation's No. 1 ranking for the first time in school history. CDR, who was later named an All-American, did, however, miss several key shots -- including three free throws -- in crunch time against Kansas. In fairness, he had a team-high 22 points on the night.
