Seen here in a Lakers jersey during the team's Media Day this year, Chris Douglas-Roberts now plays in the NBA D-League for the Texas Legends. On Sunday, the former second round pick of the New Jersey Nets scored 49 points in Texas' triple-overtime loss to Santa Cruz.

NBADLeague.com caught up with Douglas-Roberts, one of the league's top overall prospects, and this is what he had to say.

“Everybody else is making more of a big deal of [the 49 points] than I actually am. I really prepare for this game. I really take this game very seriously, every part of it. I’m really dedicated to this game so whenever I play, I expect to play well. This is just a confirmation for all of the work I put in this summer."
