Tony Mitchell Named Co-Performer of the Week
The 6-6, 216-pound forward out of Alabama led the Mad Ants to a 2-1 record during the week of March 18, averaging 34.3 points per game, along with 7.3 rebounds, and 3.6 assists. On March 22 Mitchell made a game-tying three pointer as time expired in double overtime, and buried the game-winning jumper in triple overtime against the Austin Toros. He recorded a double-double that night, scoring 47 points pulling down 12 rebounds.
