Fort Wayne, IN., Sept. 4, 2007 – Do you have a killer crossover? Is your jumper nothing but net? Are you the king of your court? If so, you don’t want to miss the Fort Wayne International Airport’s “Take Off to the NBA” Mad Ants’ Open Tryouts. Tryouts will take place on Saturday and Sunday, October 13 and 14, 2007 at Indiana Tech’s Schaefer Center, located at 1600 E. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN, 46805. Check-in and late registration will begin at 11:00 am with tryouts beginning promptly at 12:00pm.

The Mad Ants local player tryouts offer athletes an opportunity to showcase their talents in front of the Fort Wayne Mad Ants coaching staff, including Head Coach Kent Davison and Assistant Coach Jaren Jackson. Players will compete to earn an invitation to the team’s training camp, which will begin in November.

Applicants may pre-register by submitting the official registration, disclosure and release forms, in addition to a $150 non-refundable fee by October 12, 2007. The fee for day of registration will be $175. Payments may be made by cash or cashier’s check. Application forms are available at www.fortwaynehoops.com.
