We are Dedicated to our Community
As the Fort Wayne NBA D-League team, we take development seriously. Not just developing players on the basketball court, but also in our community. We are passionately committed to acting as a catalyst in the city of Fort Wayne to promote and facilitate community growth, education and sustainability. We are willing and able to do anything and everything to be involved in our community. Through our corporate partnerships and outreach initiatives, we will be dedicated to leaving a lasting legacy of good citizenship and economical development in Fort Wayne.
We receive a large number of donation and appearance requests throughout the year, and we carefully review each submission to make sure that we can help as many people as possible. Requests will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis. Priority will be given to organizations that focus on children and promote literacy, physical fitness, or the sport of basketball. Although we are eager to help in every way possible, our availability is limited and we will not be unable to honor every request.
Please note: requests must be received by our staff at least four weeks prior to the event.
Organizations are limited to receive one donation and one appearance within each calendar year.
Fees will be determined once an appearance has been granted.

Get Fit Challenge, presented by Lutheran Health Network
In our quest to help Fort Wayne become a healthier community, the Mad Ants Get Fit Challenge presented by the Lutheran Health Network is underway for its sixth consecutive season. The Mad Ants and Lutheran are challenging elementary students students from all around Northeast Indiana to be active for at least 30 minutes a day for 30 days. There are already 19 area schools who are participating with more joining after the holiday break!
The Mad Ants and Lutheran kick off the Get Fit Challenge at each school with a Fitness Assembly with special guests like The Mad Ant and the Madame Ants Dance Team. The goal of each assembly is to show the students how fun being active can be, as well as demonstrating the importance of starting healthy exercise habits early in life.
Students track their activities on a Get Fit log sheet and turn it in to the school after the 30 days to receive their free ticket to a Mad Ants game. Each student will also receive an Activity Book courtesy of Lutheran Health Network which provides tips and information how students can lead a healthy lifestyle.
The Mad Ants are pleased to be able to offer these types of positive community initiatives to our city, and it could not happen without the support of our friends at Lutheran Health Network, as well as Indiana Organ Procurement Organziation, The NeuroSpine & Pain Center, and McDonald’s.
If you would like your school to take the Mad Ants Get Fit Challenge, just call Garrett Martz at the Mad Ants office at 1-260-469-HOOP ext 107!
Youth Basketball Clinics

Do It Best Read To Achieve
The Mad Ants are proud to present the Do it Best Corp. Read to Achieve Book Drive. Gently used books can be donated in the specially marked boxes at Mad Ants home games during the book drive at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. For every book donated, participants will receive a buy one get one free ticket for any of the remaining Mad Ants games. All books collected will be donated to Goodwill. The Do it Best Corp. Read to Achieve program promotes the values of reading and on-line literacy and encourages families and adults to read regularly with young children.
Christmas with the Ants
Christmas with the Ants is a program designed to help families in the Fort Wayne community who are less fortunate during the Christmas holiday. The Fort Wayne Mad Ants have team up with Vincent Village and Meijer to provide kids from Vincent Village, a transitional home for homeless families, the Christmas of their dreams. Each child receives a $100 gift certificate to Meijer and is paired up with a Mad Ants player to shop for whatever they desire!
Coats for Kids
The Fort Wayne Mad Ants team up with local station - NewsChannel 15 and Peerless Cleaners to collect winter coats for kids in the Fort Wayne area.
