The Mad Ants – 66ers contest is the first of 50 regular season games for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, 25 of which will take place at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The Mad Ants will also take part in the 2008 D-League Showcase that will take place from Jan. 14-17 at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho.
“We’re very excited with the release of our 2007-2008 schedule. To be able to open our season in front of our fans in Fort Wayne is very special. The return of pro basketball to Fort Wayne and the surrounding area with our affiliation to the Detroit Pistons and the Indianapolis Pacers, comes a level of basketball not seen before in the War Memorial Coliseum,” stated Head Coach Kent Davison.
Also highlighting the 2007-08 D-League Schedule is the All-Star Game, which will be played as part of NBA Jam Session presented by adidas at 2008 NBA All-Star in New Orleans.

“The realignment and scheduling structure encourages divisional rivalries,” D-League President Dan Reed said. “Plus, with this scheduling system, we had the ability to cut down on travel which we believe, in turn, will provide for a better product on the floor.”
The Divisions for the 2007-08 season will break down as follows:
Rio Grande Valley
