The 2007 NBA Development League expansion draft will take place on Wednesday, September 5, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. ET. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers, Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Utah Flash, and Iowa Energy will be selecting. Only players from the final rosters of the former Arkansas and Fort Worth teams, as well as unprotected players from the other D-League teams, will be eligible to be drafted. A list of those players has previously been provided to the participating teams. The Expansion Draft will consist of ten (10) rounds with each team having one (1) selection in each round. The Expansion Draft order alternates in each round (e.g., Iowa shall have the 4th and 5th overall picks).
