ERIE, Sept. 12, 2008 — The NBA Development League Erie BayHawks will hold free agent player tryouts in Erie, Cleveland and Philadelphia. Players will have the opportunity to showcase their skills and be evaluated by the BayHawks coaching staff, as well as scouts and front office personnel from the BayHawks NBA affiliates, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers.
The tryouts are set for:
“This is a tremendous opportunity for us on many levels,” said John Treloar, BayHawks’ Head Coach. “These tryouts allow us to continue to develop our relationships with our affiliate teams in Cleveland and Philadelphia and we can look for the best unsigned and undiscovered talent to help build our roster.”
Tryout applicants can register by submitting the official registration, disclosure and release forms, in addition to a $150 non-refundable fee by October 1, 2008 for the Erie tryout. Application deadlines for the Cleveland and Philadelphia tryouts TBD.
Payments must be made by money order or cashier’s check, payable to the Erie BayHawks. Application forms are available at www.ErieBayHawks.com.
